Domestic Short Hair (short coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Adult
**Courtesy Post - this cat is not with DPR, but we were asked to help network him to find him an amazing home!** I am looking to surrender my 2 male cats. Both are indoor, litter trained, spayed, will be UTD on shots and microchipped. I have had them to the SPCA in Georgetown and they are very adoptable but at this time they are full so could not take them. Both cats came from a friend from Pennsylvania who takes care of stray cats that just showed up one day. These two were born from a litter that she just happened to find one day. All the kittens were taken in by families and mom was neutered.
First cat is Smokey, male grey with a tail. He is not much of a cuddler but will headbutt you when he wants pets. Loves to lay on the couch or in front of the window in the sun. He is good with other cats and dogs if introduced properly. He is also good with kids. We have had newborns to 4-year-olds in our house with no problems. He will most likely hide behind the couch if he doesn't want to interact with anyone.
Second cat is Boots, male black and white with no tail. He is not a cuddler either. If he decides he wants attention he will use one claw to touch you to let you know. He is the mouse catcher. He is good with cats and dogs also. Also good with kids but does not like to be bothered most of the time. He will hide if he is in a mood. He has been with his brother since birth.
I believe they can be separated however we never tried this. Neither has ever bit or scratched anyone. They are loveable in their own way. Most of the time they can be found on the couch or under it.
