Update 11/11/14: Fred has just blossomed in his foster home. He is a loving, sweet, gentle dog who loves to ride in the car, go for walks, babysit toddlers, and play with other dogs. He absolutely adores his foster mom's granddaughters and he is so good with them. He happily will cuddle and nap in your lap, and yes, he is a bit big, but he doesn't know it. He is a smart boy who is learning commands and comes to the clicker when out in the yard. He has the most beautiful face and markings, and almond shaped eyes. He loves living in a house, playing with his toys and occasionally carrying his blanket around with him. He is even learning to play ball! Fred is a big goofball who is patiently waiting for his forever family to find him!! We rescued Fred from a kill shelter in South Carolina. He is a gorgeous Treeing Walker Coonhound mix. Fred is about three years old and weighs 60 pounds. He is the sweetest boy who is looking for a family to love. He just wants to be next to you and have you rub his head while he keeps you company. Fred is quite the character with his gentle, loving nature, and just look at that face! He is great with other dogs, is fine with cats, and loves children. Fred would love to be your new best friend and companion. He is also happy trotting around in the yard and being outside. He loves to go for walks and would be a great running companion!
