11/1/14:  Chive and Chicory's transport has been delayed until this weekend - 11/11.  We will keep everyone posted upon their arrival.  Chive along with his siblings, Poppy, Saffron, Chicory, Coriander and Clove - you see the theme here) are rescues from a SC shelter where they were turned in by the owners of their mother.  Unfortunately it tends to be the trend in rural areas that instead of altering their dogs they just turn the pups into a shelter where there is little chance of them ever getting out. 
Thankfully DPR was able to find temporary foster homes in SC to take in these pups from the shelter in time to save them from being put down.  They are in homes, receiving the vet care they need and will be arriving to us November 1st into our foster homes.  We will care for them for a week to ensure they are healthy and ready for their forever homes.
