Our family adopted Phil, now Bailey, several months ago. He is the best boy ever. We love him more than I can put into words. He plays and cuddles and just has a good time. Thank you all for the work that you do. You allow families like ours to be complete. Again much thanks!

We adpoted Howie in October. This was our first dog and to say the least I was very apprehensive. When we saw Howie's picture we just knew that this was our dog. We have had Howie a little over 3 months now and he is the love of our lives. He is so lovable, funny and gives kisses at will. We want to thank you for making our family complete.

I was referred to DPR from my sister in law and friend Joey who adopted Jerry (now known as Cooper). I drove all the way from North Carolina to adopt Lincold (now known as Rudy). I was so impressed by Laura, how caring and patient. My Rudy is I am convinced the cutest puppy DPR ever had, though Joey might argue that Cooper is....He has brighten up my life so much, and has added spark to his older big brother Rocco (yellow lab). Thank you DPR and to you Laura, for being the best foster mom ever!

We adopted Caitlin just over a week ago at three and a half months old. We named her Sadie, although we liked the name Cailin too, but Sadie just stuck. She is extremely affectionate, loves to play, and is good tempered. In short, we love her and are glad she is a part of our family....and Sadie makes 7!

Hi DPR! We are the family that rescued Babe, we changed her name to Pearl. She was the toy poodle sister to the tea cup named Bitsy. Pearl is 1 year old now and is so grown up. She loves to wrestle with my husband on the bed everynight when he comes home from work. She even waits at the top of the stairs for him. He can not come all the way up until he properly greets her(hugs&kisses). My daughter and I show her how to be a lady dog. She is quiet, but not shy. She loves everyone! She loved Christmas and her Birthday, "TOYS,TOYS, TOYS". She is well traveled, NJ, MD, FL, and PA. She has her own lugage and bed when she travels. When we take these to the car she is waiting at the stairs to go too. She is a great companion to me. She loves to lay down on our necks. She has a favorite Miami Dolphin blanket. Who ever has it she will lay down on it with them. All our friends, family and neighbors enjoy her. They even buy cloths for her to wear. I knitted a sweater for her to wear out side in this bad winter cold in PA. She loves all the attention! Thank you for picking our family.

Hey DPR- I just got back some very interesting information regarding my puppies ancestry and wanted to share it in case any of the other adopters of the "h puppies" (think that was the name?) have been checking in. We adopted Hogan (now Lowell) in December 09 and he has been a perfect addition to the family! When adopting the breed was guessed to be a Shepherd/Lab mix, but after further investigation Hogan turned out to be Boston Terrier. Bernese Mountain Dog. boxer. Bull Terrier. Greyhound. and Scottish Terrier! Hope this might help some of the other owners of his brothers and sisters!
